Farid’s House Front Yard & Walkway Strip

A Sustainable Xeriscape Sanctuary for Pollinators and Shade

This landscape was designed around three primary concepts to create a unique and functional space. First, we transformed the flat walkway strip into a pollinator-friendly garden with two species of Cuphea (Firecracker) plants to attract hummingbirds and other pollinators. Second, to provide natural shade along the walkway, two fruitless olive trees were incorporated, helping to cool the area. Finally, we introduced a Xeriscape design for the sloped front yard to prioritize water conservation. The overall design harmoniously blends existing and new plants, creating a striking and artistic landscape.
