Landoos was founded and is led by Ashkan Nochian, known by many as Ash. Ash holds a terminal degree in Landscape Architecture and has accumulated over 24 years of experience in the field. Throughout his career, he has designed, implemented, maintained, and overseen a wide range of projects, from small residential gardens to large commercial developments and urban open spaces. Ash’s career has taken him across the globe, working in diverse climates such as arid and semi-arid regions, tropical zones, cold climates, and Mediterranean environments. In the U.S., Ash has worked in Idaho, Utah, and California. These experiences have equipped him with a deep understanding of how landscapes and plants adapt to various environmental conditions. In addition to his practical experience, Ash is also a passionate educator, having taught a wide range of subjects to diverse audiences, from beginners to graduate students. His teaching areas include sustainable landscape design, houseplant care and management, landscaping with trees and shrubs, landscape engineering, and landscape maintenance. His passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces is driven by a desire to improve the quality of life for those who enjoy them.
